Hey friends! So we’re trying to transition from Fivetran to Airbyte and from the technical side we were investigating Airbyte on ECS, which is not available yet due to containers having to create other containers. In relation to that my question is: do y’all use Docker-in-Docker (dind) or some other way of creating containers with other containers?

RJ there are others options to run using Kubernetes besides ECS 😅 did you try EKS?

Yup, but our pipeline is mostly ECS at the moment, so I was just trying to figure out if the images are using Docker-in-Docker or some other method for creating containers with containers.
And we’re currently deploying AirByte to EC2 just because we’ve got much more expertise there and on ECS than we do on EKS. It’s likely this will change in the future but I figured I’d ask about the Docker-in-Docker stuff because it was on my mind.
