Hi everyone, I was trying to setup a connection between
Excel file
with multiple sheets and
postgres
. Since
source-file
connector accepts
Reader Options
where we can pass pandas
read_excel
arguments, i tried passing the list of sheet names as
{"sheet_name": ["sheet1", "sheet2"]}
. And, getting this error
Copy code
AttributeError("'dict' object has no attribute 'columns'") Traceback (most recent call last): File "/airbyte/integration_code/source_file/source.py", line 112, in check list(client.streams) File "/airbyte/integration_code/source_file/client.py", line 416, in streams "properties": self._stream_properties(fp), File "/airbyte/integration_code/source_file/client.py", line 399, in _stream_properties for col in df.columns: AttributeError: 'dict' object has no attribute 'columns'
I'm using airbyte
v 0.40.21

Hey! I need to look into this a bit further and test it out locally. Could you give me an example of your excel data so I can experiment with reader options?
l
Hi, any excel-file with more than one sheets would do. And, try specifying those sheet names in reader options
{"sheet_name": ["sheet1", "sheet2"]}

Understood, thanks! I'll test it out and get back to you later today or Monday!

sheet_name
to get all sheets from the file @Nataly Merezhuk (Airbyte) Could you please give some advice?
