Hi @John (Airbyte) @Michel we chatted two weeks ago (Harley Therapy) 🙂 Just taking a look at where you have got to, Not had much time to try but the 5 min feedback is te instructions for starting locally aren't quite working (assuming I'm missing something somewhere)
# docker-compose up -d
Pulling db (dataline/db:0.1.0)..ERROR: manifest for dataline/db:0.1.0 not found: manifest unknown: manifest unknown
Any hints appreciated :)
changing
VERSION
in .env to
latest
doesn't make a difference in case it was related to the specific version. Anyway will have a proper look later.
j
we haven't launched yet, that's why 🙂, we should next week
i
ha ha
I'll come back next week then 🙂
j
if you're ok with it, I can ping you back next week, once we're ready, and you can test?
ok 👍
i
sure ... i actually have a short term need for a non profit i;m working with for heroku since stitch are abandoning their free plan so a definite use case for now
j
oh and you need it now, or next week will be ok?
i
no next week is fine ... not necessary this week. I just happened to visit the site since stitch informed me of the change and figured you must have launched. I'll look forward to trying next week
j
👍

Welcome Iain! what data source will you be replicating from Heroku?
And would you be interested in deploying dataline in heroku as well?
i
@s short term PostgreSQL from Heroku. I do have a MySQL source too. And yes deploying on heroku would be really handy.
m
Out of curiosity where do you want to push the data?
i
Big query in all cases
m
Great thanks!
j
Hey @Iain Donaldson! you can now fork our code. we just launched the MVP this morning. Today, our MVP supports Postgres, Stripe and an exchange rate API as sources, and BigQuery and Postgres as targets. We wanted to launch fast and get the community feedback as early as possible. We will add many more sources and destinations in the coming weeks.
i
Thanks @John (Airbyte)! Bit late here so will take a gander tomorrow. Looking forward to doing exactly what your dev.to article talks about :)
j
hehe 😉
looking forward to as well!
i
Hi John - just found a small issue in the Bigquery destination when you have a table named
groups
do you want me to create an issue on github for you?
j
oh yes please do!
thanks for that!
i
np. done.
(simple to fix I think)
