Hi everyone, I have a database in firebird, is it possible that Airbyte can connect through odbc?

Hey Fer! The team is asleep right now. So we’ll most likely come back to you tomorrow :)

Hey @Fer Tovar. We don’t support it today but we can add it!
Do you want to create an issue ?
I believe we can leverage the jdbc driver and get smth up and running quickly (we could also sho you how to do it, in case you want to contribute this source)
What volume do you want to replicate and to what destination ?

Hello @Michel @John (Airbyte) Sorry for resurrecting this thread from 2 years ago I would like to read data from a Firebird database I didn't find a connector or any way to get around this limitation, like ODBC Could you help me by answering if after these 2 years, if you have any news about this question please? 🙂

Hey Claudio, we don’t support it at the moment.

it shouldn’t be too complex to create a source though if you want to give it a try.

That sad! 😞 Can I somehow request for it to be done? I saw that there are some in the link below https://airbyte.com/connector-requests How do I request one and leave it open for voting?

one other option is that we can see with partners to get it built, but this would be a paid service by you. let me know if you're interested

Interesting to know about this possibility, thanks for informing I could do a test with the tool and the other connectors to see if they meet the needs of the project, if we move forward, I could take this budget to the company Could you make a budget without commitment so I can have a base please? I'm from Brazil, our currency is not the dollar, if you can return the budget please Requirements: • Firebird 2.5 • Firebird 3.0 • Only reading
