Hey everyone! I'm curious if anyone has experience bringing in daily spend data from Facebook marketing. I am trying to figure out how much each campaign is cost everyday and I'm having trouble.

No trouble so far

Would you be able to show me what data you're using for daily campaign spend?

Hi, I am joining into this question. I can get the facebook marketing data but I can't get a daily breakdown (like a column with the date). The objective is to have daily data on a chart (like daily trend of ad spend) I successfully built a Facebook Marketing source and set up a custom insight report, with the start_date as the beginning of the year and Time Increment set as 1. This is the resulting schema from the connection tab: adset_name buying_type campaign_name clicks conversions date_start date_stop impressions objective spend I was expecting another column in the schema to to able to segment by data (I don't think it is _airbyte_emitted_at)_ In facebook documentation I was reading that by setting time_ranges the time_increment will be ignored, but in my case I only set up the start date

date_start you could try to aggregate by date_start

since if your granularity is daily it will be only one row per date_start per campaign id

Hi @Rytis Zolubas, thank you! I thought that date_start was the date of start of that particular adset, ad or campaign.

@Yosuf Hariq have you managed to solve this?
y
Hey guys, thank you for your input. I was indeed able to resolve this. I setup a custom insight with _campaign_id, campaign_name, spend_ as the only fields and set the time increment to 1. This provides daily spend data for each campaign which you can then aggregate to your liking.

Hello Yosuf Hariq, it's been a while without an update from us. Are you still having problems or did you find a solution?
