That is so strange! M1 Macs are fully supported, so that shouldn't be an issue. I'm wondering if there's an issue elsewhere in your setup environment. I'm also on an M1 machine but docker version 4.12, and everything works. Could you try downgrading your Docker Desktop just as an experiment to 4.12? https://docs.docker.com/desktop/release-notes/#4120
