im new to airbyte and am installing a local version using Docker. I ran the instructions as per the "Deploy Airbyte" page and execute the
docker-compose up
command. Its been several hours and it is still not complete. I can see in Powershell that it is executing (isnt stalled), but not sure if this is normal. Thoughts?

Hi, Domenic! It sounds like you are on Windows, is that correct? Could you try using WSL2 instead? This is definitely not the norm and looks like there is something off in your system setup.
d
should i just exit this operation then?
j
are you getting a lot of log messages? Have you tried hitting the UI to see?
d
running in Powershell and its produced a ton of messages, but right now it takes 30sec to produce a message
1 message every 30 sec

Domenic, yes, exit the operation - getting Airbyte up and running in Docker shouldn't take more than about a minute

So i was success at setting up AirByte and connecting to a OracleDB. It displayed the schemas available to the user.. yay
I did another test against an OracleDb but i used a username that had significant table/view access (entire database) and it failed. I get the response
non-json response
while trying to load the schemas even though the connection was successful. Thoughts?

Hi Domenic, we adhere to a one question per thread policy to make sure the team stays organized and we can refer to this channel later as a record. Please make a new thread and make sure to include details like your OS, Airbyte verison, connector versions and full log. Thanks!
