Is this your first time deploying Airbyte: No OS Version: Ubuntu 20.04 Memory / Disk: 4 Gb / 80 Gb Deployment: Digital Ocean Droplet Airbyte Version: 0.30.25 Source name/version: Amazon Seller Partner/0.2.14 Destination name/version: Bigquery Description: Unable to set up the source. Getting error.

The connection tests failed.
Exception('Error while refreshing access token: 401 Client Error: Unauthorized for url: <https://api.amazon.com/auth/o2/token>')
Followed the amazon seller set up, doubled checked the permissions and still seems to get this error. Is there any way to get more details from the logs? Would be great to see more details on ERROR check failed line. Logs below:

Hey i would suggest you to hit the API with the credentials using curl or postman. Here are the docs for the API https://github.com/amzn/selling-partner-api-docs

Alright. Just wondering, does my seller central app need to be approved for it to work? It's currently in draft mode
a
Not an expert there but if it works with Curl or Postman it should work with connector also. If not you can raise an issue and team will look into it
s
@Maish Maseeh Were you able to solve this? I'm facing the same issue (deploying on my local for the time being). My app is in draft mode, which according to the documentation is ok for self approval apps
Hey, yeah it wasn't the draft mode. In my case it was the app ID that I had entered wrongly. But I'm still getting some other errors after that so it's a bit difficult to get this running reliably
I've checked all details multiple times and it's still not working.
Are you also trying the Amazon Ads? Can't seem to be able to get the Refresh Token. They don't make it easy!
g
@Tanguy R it’s really difficult to get the creds for Amazon Connectors 😞

@Marcos Marx (Airbyte) while we are on the topic, another thing I've noticed is that sometimes I get failures for the amazon connection. It really doesn't feel as consistent. I'm not sure why the failures happen (attached a log just incase it helps).

@Marcos Marx (Airbyte) - May I suggest we create a channel for all things Amazon? I previously had a team of developers who created an Amazon app. I've since sold it and I'm looking at connecting the APIs just to use for my own business. I love where you are going with Airbyte. I've been testing the Ads and SP-API but there are things not working very well. I wonder if we put together a dedicated threads we can help each other out and speed up output? What do you think? @Maish Maseeh?
Yeah sounds like a good idea. That would definitely help! +1
