Hey @CM - you can submit a pull request to the docs with the instructions . @Amruta (Airbyte) fyi
c
Do you have a walkthrough to submit such PR? I'm not that familiar with the process. Cheers

Hi @CM! Congratulations on getting the app approved! We do have a contributing guide for docs but it needs to be updated. I’d also love to see the content before we figure out where to place it in our docs/blog. Would you mind writing the content in a Google doc before we port it to docs?
c
@Amruta (Airbyte) Sure, that sounds great. It wasn't an easy feat so I'm happy to share the steps. I'll get in contact with you when I have it done.
a
perfect! thank you! I’ll update the contributing guide in the meantime 🙂

Thanks so much for the writeup, @CM! Sharing it with the content team now to figure out if it should be a blog post or a doc. Created a tracking issue: https://github.com/airbytehq/airbyte/issues/13767
Is the writeup applicable to the Facebook Marketing or Facebook Pages connector? (or both?)
c
Mainly Facebook Marketing, it could also be applied to Facebook Pages but the connector is broken for now and cannot be used / tested fully.
a
gotcha. thank you!
Hi again! Discussed it with the team and decided to post a guide on Discourse and link to it from the docs. Would you like to post the guide? If not, happy to do it for you and shoutout to you as the original author if you prefer. Let me know!
a
That was so fast!! Thank you so much!!

Hi @CM, I´m trying to follow your guide, but I cant find where to: After that, Facebook wants you to explain and demonstrate how you are going to use each permission and provide a recording of the use case. I see the following page But I can´t see where to update the data. And regarding the set up source and destination, where should I do it?
