Is this your first time deploying Airbyte: no OS Version / Instance: AWS EC2 t2.large Deployment: Docker Airbyte Version: 0.35.4-alpha Is this your first time deploying Airbyte: no OS Version / Instance: AWS EC2 t2.large Deployment: Docker Airbyte Version: 0.35.4-alpha Source: postgres 0.4.7 Destination : BigQuery 0.6.8 Description: Hi, My Postgres to BigQuery connection is failing since this morning. Attached are the logs, I can't extract any valuable insights from it. Are you able to ? Note that I upgraded the postgres source from 0.4.6 this morning, could it be the cause of this issue ? If yes, how can I downgrade it ? Thanks

Hey you can go to settings page and you will find destinations. you can update the version to older one and check if it working
Yes, just did it, it's working now Can you see what went wrong from the logs ?
Looks like something is wrong with latest version. Do you mind creating an issue and adding all these details there?
@Harshith (Airbyte), I had upgraded blindly as the latest changes are no longer reported here : https://docs.airbyte.com/integrations/sources/postgres#changelog Do you know why ?
@Anatole Callies @Harshith (Airbyte) this error occurs because in the latest version microseconds were added for timestamps, and the string in the cursor is stored as a timestamp without them. this causes an error. If you select a new version and do a data reset, it will help you and the cursor will be saved in the correct format.

Hi @Andrii Korotkov [GL], Thanks for the explanation ! It is a bit disruptive though, isn't it possible to bypass the need for a reset ?
I'll see what I can do to help you. I'll try to add changes today or tomorrow that will fix this. I will keep you informed.

Thanks @Andrii Korotkov [GL], appreciate your reactivity !
@Anatole Callies I created a pull request to fix this error - https://github.com/airbytehq/airbyte/pull/10508. Now I am finishing all the preparatory work so that it can be merged. When I receive an approval from the team members, a new version will be published that will work correctly with your cursor.

This is great, thanks @Andrii Korotkov [GL]. Do you know why this has ceased being updated with new versions for the past months ? https://docs.airbyte.com/integrations/sources/postgres#changelog Thanks

Thank you for noticing this. We make changes to this document with every new version, but they don't really show up on this page. We will check all connectors and fix it.

@Anatole Callies I have already published a new version for postgres. Please try running the sync and use it. I think everything will go great. Please let me know about the results.

Hi, It works, but note that it is still version 0.4.7 that appears as the latest version, I had to force it to 0.4.8
Yes that's right. Within half an hour, I will merge a pull request and 0.4.8 will appear as the latest version.
