Hadn't gotten a chance until now to appreciate the new connector icons. They look really slick. Nice work.

how would you specify your own icon for a custom connector?

looks like here?
https://github.com/airbytehq/airbyte/tree/335f5edef838df1560f31f0b0dcb00c25ee47482/airbyte-config/init/src/main/resources/icons

im assuming first-party supported ones get icons then?

yes! you put the icon in there. and then in the appropriate definition for the connector you have it point at that icon.

example for postgres: ⢠icon:
https://github.com/airbytehq/airbyte/blob/master/airbyte-config/init/src/main/resources/icons/postgresql.svg
⢠definition points to icon:
https://github.com/airbytehq/airbyte/blob/master/airbyte-config/init/src/main/resources/seed/source_definitions.yaml#L61

if you are planning on contributing your connector the the project we are happy to have the icon as well.

but you're right in saying that a connector doesn't define its own icon in its docker container.
