@kapa.aiHello, I have disabled auth using the values.yaml:
global:
  auth:
    enabled: false
k
Thinking completed To apply the
values.yaml
configuration that disables authentication, you can run the following command if you are using `abctl`:
abctl local install --values ./values.yaml
If you are using Helm on your own Kubernetes cluster, apply your
values.yaml
file during your Helm upgrade/install:
helm upgrade --install <release-name> airbyte/airbyte --values values.yaml -n <namespace>

I have followed those steps, restarted the server pod/container (sync with argocd) yet it's still prompting for a user/pass with the instance password from secrets.
Is there a setting that is stuck in the database that needs to be manually changed to fully disable authentication?

Sorry @rlewon904, I'm not sure what you mean. Please try again. šŸ‘‹

Thinking completed I'm sorry, but there is no information in the knowledge sources about a database setting or flag that gets stuck and needs to be manually modified in the database to disable authentication. The provided documentation only specifies that turning off authentication is managed through
values.yaml
using:
global:
  auth:
    enabled: false
[Authentication] A few things to verify in your Kubernetes/ArgoCD environment: • Verify that your ArgoCD application is passing
global.auth.enabled: false
into the rendered Helm values properly and that it is not being overridden by default values or another values source. • Check the environment variables injected into the
airbyte-server
pod to ensure the authentication-related configuration reflected the change. šŸ‘ 0 button šŸ‘Ž 0 button ā„¹ļø Tip: Mention @kapa.ai in the thread for follow-ups or DM the app for 1-to-1 help.
