Based on the available knowledge sources, the Airbyte Connector Builder UI
does not natively support mutual TLS (mTLS) / client certificate authentication.
The Connector Builder supports standard authentication methods such as:
• No auth
• API Key
• Bearer Token
• OAuth 2.0
For APIs requiring client certificates (mTLS), the knowledge sources indicate this is
not supported in the Connector Builder UI. As noted in a community discussion, there is no way to pass certificate parameters (public/private key pairs) through the Connector Builder. [

Similarly, disabling SSL certificate verification in the Connector Builder is also not supported. [

Alternatives If you need mTLS authentication, your options are:
1.
Low-code CDK – Build your connector using the
low-code CDK, which gives you more flexibility for custom authentication. [

2.
Python CDK – Use the Python CDK for full control over the HTTP request, including passing
cert
parameters (as you would with
requests.post(..., cert=(client_crt, client_key))
). [

Note: Some native database connectors (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Oracle) do support SSL/TLS with client certificates at the connector level, but this is implemented per-connector and is not available as a general feature in the Connector Builder UI. 👍 0 button 👎 0 button ℹ️
