05/27/2026, 3:54 PM/Date(%ms)/ is not a supported cursor datetime format in Airbyte's DatetimeBasedCursor. The supported formats use standard strftime-style placeholders, and there's no way to define a literal wrapper like /Date(...)/ around the timestamp value. [YAML Reference]
Your workaround of extracting just the numeric portion with:
{{ record['C_DocChangedDt'][6:19] }}
...and then using %ms as the cursor datetime format is the correct approach. This strips the /Date( prefix and )/ suffix, leaving just the raw millisecond Unix timestamp (e.g., 1747612800000), which %ms can parse correctly.
So to summarize:
• Original field format (/Date(1747612800000)/) — not directly parseable by any supported cursor datetime format.
• Computed field (extracting characters 6–19 to get 1747612800000) + %ms format — this is the right solution.
There is no built-in format string that can handle the /Date(...)/ wrapper pattern. Your computed field approach is the recommended workaround in this case. [Incremental Sync] 👍 0 button 👎 0 button ℹ️ Tip: Mention @kapa.ai in the thread for follow-ups or DM the app for 1-to-1 help.
