@kapa.ai I'm on airbyte v1.8.5, deployed on a Google VM with abctl. How to upgrade to v2?
k
Since you're using abctl to manage your Airbyte deployment, the upgrade process is straightforward. Prerequisites Before upgrading to Airbyte v2.0, you must first upgrade abctl to version 0.30.2 or later. This is required before upgrading to Airbyte v2.0. [abctl 0.30.2 required] Step 1: Upgrade abctl Depending on your OS, run one of the following: Using curl (Linux):
curl -LsfS https://get.airbyte.com | bash -
Using Homebrew (macOS):
brew upgrade abctl
Verify the upgrade:
abctl version
Step 2: Upgrade Airbyte Once abctl is updated, simply run:
abctl local install
This will upgrade Airbyte to the latest version. You can verify the running version with:
abctl local status
[upgrading with abctl] Notes on Helm chart V2 Since abctl version 0.30.0+, abctl uses Helm chart V2 by default. So upgrading abctl and running
abctl local install
will also migrate you to Helm chart V2 automatically. If you use custom
values.yaml
files, you may need to update them to use V2 syntax. [Helm chart V2 upgrade] 👍 0 button 👎 0 button â„šī¸ Tip: Mention @kapa.ai in the thread for follow-ups or DM the app for 1-to-1 help.
