However, there are a couple of approaches mentioned in the documentation that may help you find stream/table names:
Using PyAirbyte (for Airbyte Cloud with SQL-based destinations):
If you're using Airbyte Cloud with a supported SQL-based destination (like Snowflake or BigQuery), you can use PyAirbyte to retrieve stream names programmatically:
from airbyte import cloud
workspace = cloud.CloudWorkspace(
workspace_id="123",
api_key=ab.get_secret("AIRBYTE_CLOUD_API_KEY"),
)
connection = workspace.get_connection(connection_id="456")
sync_result = connection.get_sync_result()
# Print a list of available stream names
print(sync_result.stream_names)
[PyAirbyte sync results]
Via the Airbyte UI:
You can also view which streams are enabled for a connection by navigating to Connections â [your connection] â Schema tab in the Airbyte UI. [Configuring schemas]
For directly querying the internal airbyte-db database, I'd recommend checking the Airbyte documentation or community forums, as the knowledge sources available to me don't cover that internal database schema. đ 0 button đ 0 button âšī¸ Tip: Mention @kapa.ai in the thread for follow-ups or DM the app for 1-to-1 help.
