Hey guys, what's the preferred way of having two sources with different configurations, e.g.: google analytics from 2 sites ending up in the same destination?
u
We’re nearing the end of a project that allows you to namespace the tables written to the destination by source if you want to
u
I imagine you want each of those GA tables to be separated by source for your use case?
u
correct
u
cool
u
yeah that’s a feature that’s coming out pretty soon
u
people are testing/reviewing today
u
awesome, can i test as well?
u
I’m pretty sure you’ll be able to next week
u
@charles is that true for timeframe?
u
Thanks @Jared Rhizor (Airbyte), et al., for the quick turn. Looking forward to this @Samuel Gordalina
u
note quite.
u
that project is in flight but it is not the thing that we are rolling out today.
u
Oh is it because we’re changing the implementation after the discussion Wednesday?
u
we are rolling out handling nesting for normalization today. 🤞
u
ah
u
I was confused
u
Sorry Samuel and Cyrus
u
That's all right
u
the namespacing project we have made some progress on and plan to work on and finish next week.
u
Next week is perfect!
u
thank you
u
is there a PR we can follow?
u
u
There will likely be some related frontend PRs too
u
That’s ok, Samuel lives at the API layer 😜
u
@s knows it 😄
u
haha
