Hello! Does anyone know how to reset the cursor in a table set to be ingested incrementally? We want to erase and read the full table. Thanks!

@kapa.ai how and where is the cursor stored?

The cursor in Airbyte is stored in an internal Postgres database. The [Airbyte Protocol](https://docs.airbyte.com/understanding-airbyte/airbyte-protocol) specifies that an Airbyte source should emit an [AirbyteStateMessage](https://docs.airbyte.com/understanding-airbyte/airbyte-protocol/#airbytestatemessage-v1). This message includes the value of the most recently emitted cursor as well as other state information. You can view the contents of the state database with the following commands:
Copy code
bash docker exec -ti airbyte-db psql -U docker -d airbyte SELECT * FROM state;
The response should be a table that includes the cursor value among other state information. For more details, you can refer to this [tutorial](https://airbyte.com/tutorials/incremental-data-synchronization) on Airbyte’s incremental data synchronization.
