07/03/2023, 6:22 AMbash cd airbyte-integrations/connector-templates/generator ./generate.sh Choose the relevant template by using the arrow keys. This will generate a new connector in the airbyte-integrations/connectors/<your-connector> directory. Follow the "TODO"s in the generated directory to implement your connector. You can also follow the relevant tutorial for more detailed instructions ([source](https://docs.airbyte.com/connector-development)). 2. Add integration tests for your connector: All connectors must pass [Airbyte's standard test suite](https://docs.airbyte.com/connector-development/testing-connectors/). You can also add your own tests ([source](https://docs.airbyte.com/connector-development)). 3. Document how to build & test your connector: If you're writing in a language other than Python or Java, document the commands needed to build your connector docker image and run any unit or integration tests in a Docker image ([source](https://docs.airbyte.com/connector-development)). 4. Publish the Docker image containing the connector: This is typically handled as part of code review by an Airbyte team member. There are steps needed for publishing a connector, which are mostly used by Airbyte employees ([source](https://docs.airbyte.com/connector-development)). 5. Add your connector in the UI: Get the Docker coordinate of your custom connector from Dockerhub (or any image repository that Airbyte can access). In the UI, go to the Admin section, and click on [+ New connector] on the top right. You will be asked for the display name, the Docker repository name (repository + image name), tag, and documentation URL for that connector. Once this is filled, your connector will appear in the UI and your team will be able to use it ([source](https://docs.airbyte.com/integrations/custom-connectors)). Remember, you are not required to maintain the connectors you create. The goal is that the Airbyte core team and the community help maintain the connector ([source](https://docs.airbyte.com/connector-development)).
