It seems like you're having trouble starting the Airbyte webapp due to an issue with the CDK manifest schema download. The error message "The system cannot find the path specified" suggests that the path to the schema file might not be correct. When working on the connector builder UI and making changes to the CDK and the webapp at the same time, you can start the dev server with
CDK_MANIFEST_PATH
or
CDK_VERSION
environment variables set to have the correct Typescript types built. If
CDK_VERSION
is set, it's loading the specified version of the CDK from pypi instead of the default one, if
CDK_MANIFEST_PATH
is set, it's copying the schema file locally. For example, you can start the server with the
CDK_MANIFEST_PATH
environment variable set like this:
bash CDK_MANIFEST_PATH=../../airbyte/airbyte-cdk/python/airbyte_cdk/sources/declarative/declarative_component_schema.yaml pnpm start
Please ensure that the path specified in the
CDK_MANIFEST_PATH
is correct and the schema file exists at that location. If the issue persists, it might be helpful to check the permissions of the schema file and the directory it resides in. For more information, you can refer to the [Airbyte documentation on developing locally](https://docs.airbyte.com/contributing-to-airbyte/developing-locally).

I don't think the webapp environment is fit for being run in Windows cmd like that. cc @Tim Roes (Airbyte)

Yes, you'll need to use the linux subsystem in windows (WSL) or some other linux like shell (cygwin) to run the webapp development on Windows.
