where can I find the airbyte .env file?

The
.env
file is located in the base of the Airbyte repo. You should modify it before running
docker compose up
to start Airbyte with your custom config. More information on configuring Airbyte can be found in the [documentation](https://docs.airbyte.com/operator-guides/configuring-airbyte#docker-deployments).

You can add the
TEMPORAL_HISTORY_RETENTION_IN_DAYS
variable to your
.env
file if it's not already present. This variable defines the retention period of the job history in Temporal and also applies to log retention when running in Docker. By default, it is set to 30 days. To update it, simply add the following line to your
.env
file:
Copy code
TEMPORAL_HISTORY_RETENTION_IN_DAYS=<your_desired_value>
Replace
<your_desired_value>
with the number of days you want to retain the job history and logs. After updating the
.env
file, restart your Airbyte instance for the changes to take effect. Source: [Configuring Airbyte](https://docs.airbyte.com/operator-guides/configuring-airbyte)
