Hello (again)!
If running airbyte and planning to move data into bigquery: would you recommend running on Google Cloud? Is there a benefit compared running on AWS?

In general, yes. This would keep all networking in GCP which would be faster and cheaper for you

Of course if you are moving from Redshift to BQ, you are already incurring the network penalty. At that point, probs easier to choose a cloud your eng team has experience with

Yes, probably we would move data from GCS-buckets, but also http-endpoints or Salesforce.
Thank you! 🙏
