Hey, recently started using airbyte and was a little concerned regarding the Usage Data collection before deploying it to Production. Is there any documentation I can refer to which details what data is being gathered ?

Hey Pranav, we should definitely have some docs on that. We don't collect any information on your data, only on the frontend events (buttons you clicked, etc.), status of the syncs and name of the connector (so we have data about the quality of our connectors). Please rest assured that you can put any value in the email address and even anonymize the data. For us, the point of this data is not for marketing but to improve the reliability of the connectors. let me know if you have any questions!

Hi @Pranav Hegde and @Matthew Tovbin , you can disable telemetry by setting the following env var this way:

TRACKING_STRATEGY=logging
PAPERCUPS_STORYTIME=disabled
