Hi There, I am interested in learning more about airbyte, specifically in the following areas: • airbyte CLI ◦ release date ◦ documentation • Pipelines as a Code ◦ Is there documentation on how to write airbyte pipelines, or is this a feature that will be coming in the future? Thanks

I think @[DEPRECATED] Augustin Lafanechere is the better person to answer this

Hi @Scott Pedersen, we're currently working on a tech spec for an Airbyte CLI to manage source/destination/connection configurations. Would you be interested in checking this out when it's ready to give feedbacks to check it matches your needs? About pipeline as code, could you clarify what you mean by this?

Hi @[DEPRECATED] Augustin Lafanechere what I mean by pipeline as code, is being able to use the airbyte API instead of the frontend to be able to create source and destination connections and then being able to bring this together using a language like Python where we can include transformations and so on. We are wanting to be able to include this code in a CI/CD pipeline, where we develop in dev, and automate the promotion of this code along with unit tests to test/uat, and prod environments. That is the idea anyway 🙂

Allright I 100% get it. I'll come back to you when we'll have a shareable tech spec.
