Hi everyone! When resetting data, my connection doesn't initiate a full sync, anyone encountered a problem like that? My understanding is that on resetting the data, the entire dataset in the destination gets deleted and re-synced, but in my case it's indeed get's deleted but only new data get's sync. This problem can be solved by creating a new connection.

Hi @Eugene Krall, how did you reset your data? By truncating the output table or by using the button in the UI?
e
I tried different ways but what seems to work for me is 1. disable connection when creating and saving it 2. remove the dataset manually 3. press "sync now" button not sure about other cases but simply pressing "reset data" removes the data from the dataset but updates it with only new data

Pressing the reset data button is doing two things: • Truncating output tables • Deleting the connection state from Airbyte database, this should ensure incremental syncs are reset and a full refresh is launched on the next sync I think the problem you have might be related to this second step. Could you check the airbyte database and if a state is kept even after reset in the UI?

yep. not removing dataset and pressing just "reset button" doesn't help.
I assume that there's some internal pointer that doesn't get reset when it's supposed to?

Hey Eugene can you help us with more info (we have pinned #C01MFR03D5W channel) and probably create an issue so that we can track this.
