Hello! I have no issue with a connector but I would like to have some feedback on the jira source connecto. We indeed consider to use it in the next few weeks/months. Is it reliable 'even in alpha? Are there known issues / limitations? Are there any development planned for it to become a V1 or even GA? Many thanks 🙏

Hello! The Jira source connector is currently in the Alpha stage, which means it may not be as reliable as Beta or GA connectors. It is strongly discouraged to use Alpha connectors for production use cases [source](https://airbytehq.slack.com/archives/C021JANJ6TY/p1676985379403989). There are some known issues and limitations with the Jira connector, such as custom fields not being retrieved in some cases [source](https://discuss.airbyte.io/t/1351) and issues with normalization when syncing to Redshift [source](https://discuss.airbyte.io/t/2290). However, some users have reported successful usage of the connector [source](https://airbytehq.slack.com/archives/C021JANJ6TY/p1673042499892389). As for the development plans, currently, the priority is on improving the speed and reliability of GA connectors and moving some Beta connectors to GA. Moving Alpha connectors like Jira to the Beta stage is not a priority at this point [source](https://airbytehq.slack.com/archives/C021JANJ6TY/p1676985379403989). If you decide to use the Jira connector and encounter any issues, you can always report them on the [Airbyte GitHub repository](https://github.com/airbytehq/airbyte/issues) or seek help on the [Airbyte forum](https://discuss.airbyte.io/tags/c/connector/11/source-jira). Keep an eye on the [Jira connector documentation](https://docs.airbyte.com/integrations/sources/jira) and [Airbyte's connector release stages](https://airbyte.com/blog/connector-release-stages) for updates on its development status.
