Hey Team, I was thinking of doing Hubspot integration using Airbyte. I was going through the docs and according to my understanding, using Airbyte I can only receive data from Hubspot but can't send data to it. 1. Am I correct? 2. If I am is there any plan to support the feature where Airbyte use will be able to send data to the CRM?

1. Yes, you are correct. As of now, Airbyte supports Hubspot as a source, but not as a destination. You can extract data from Hubspot, but you cannot send data to it using Airbyte. You can find the list of supported sources and destinations in the [Airbyte connectors page](https://docs.airbyte.com/integrations/sources/hubspot). 2. Airbyte currently does not have the reverse ETL feature, which would allow you to use Hubspot or other CRMs as destinations. However, Airbyte has acquired Grouparoo, which might have the functionality you're looking for. You can keep an eye on the [Airbyte roadmap](https://app.harvestr.io/roadmap/view/pQU6gdCyc/launch-week-roadmap?p=lymTZInr0) for updates on new features and improvements.

I am interested in contributing to the reverse ETL thing since I've already worked few of those things especially in Salesforce, Hubspot and Pipedrive.

Right now, HubSpot is only a source and not a destination so sending data to HubSpot is not supported. Nothing prevents users to create their own destination though. Reverse ETL is something that we intend to tackle in the long run but it is not something planned yet (see our roadmap)

@Maxime Carbonneau-Leclerc (Airbyte) I understand that. If you want that to be taken up by community happy to help. I believe I've a fair bit of idea of how this things work at least in Salesforce.

@Sherif Nada is this something we would like to explore earlier?

Unfortunately not quite yet - rETL requires upgrading some platform data models so it’s not just about the connector
