Hi! Can someone clarify a really noob question for me please? 😉 The docs for each source usually begin "_The [name of] Source can sync data from the....._" "sync" ? Or "copy from" ? I have always considered "sync" to be when two items are aligned with each other so they match. That isn't what an Airbyte Source does though, unless I'm wrong? The responsibility of s Source is to transfer to a Target. If there is additional data in a Target DB, for example, there is no bi-directional movement back to the Source meaning that both are now in "sync" Thanks

Hi! Terminology wise, we think of sync-ing as 1 way from the source to the destination. i.e. the data in the source should be as close as possible to the data in the destination

we should probably stop using the term sync and use extract instead
