I actually like this idea. I think anchoring notes to a specific node instead of placing them on the canvas would make complex workflows much easier to maintain. Once a flow grows, adding or rearranging steps can make standalone notes lose their context, especially in larger automations. If notes were attached to a node, they'd move with it whenever the workflow is reorganized. It would also make documenting workflows much cleaner for teams, since each note would stay with the step it's describing rather than requiring manual repositioning after every change. I could see this being a really useful quality of life improvement for collaboration and long-term maintenance.
