Not sure about any balancing changes to ability cards or items 🙂 but the rule changes to fire tiles for witch and hawk movement for huntress are e.g. already in there

Ok. I have decided to keep using v1 for current play through.

Which is totally fair 🙂 for the huntress playing without the change/buff felt very difficult/cumbersome. We didn’t really touch the witch yet

I also skipped the witch in my setup.

Well.. my plan for solo was warden, pertinent, witch and ranger. But then I didn’t have the time to do it :S

I wouldn't recommend using the new rules until you've also got the updated ability cards

For the witch? It’s only the fire witch that’s affected. For Cur and huntress it’s a straight buff

Not sure about the grove maiden

You're right, in the case of the Cur and Huntress, using the buffs without the altered cards is like giving yourself a handicap

They aren't publicly available yet for peeps, just the 2.0 general rulebook. Tonzin likely saw the updated cards / player boards as he was involved in the internal playtesting.

For the Cur, it specifically calls out his Lethality tokens as something you get back when you miss an attack like you do with all other combat tokens used. (Found where the Determination rule is listed). For the Huntress, her hawks now have adjusted movement mechanics to give the players more freedom in how they play her. (Found in the Appendix)

Huntress basically in a nutshell: if the character the hawk(s) was/were on dies, the hawk(a) return(s) to the huntress

If a fight says a minion spawns at each home, but both homes are destroyed, do no minions spawn?

If an enemy die during an reaction stage card, is it removed immediately or after stage card is completed - and thereby still part of upcoming attack?

It is removed immediately

is this an update in the rules as well? I know that all actions on a card that come AFTER the damage that breaks a part are cancelled, but I was under the impression that something like flame wave would deal all of its damage regardless, because it is a single instance on the card. Same as throwing a large monster into multiple oathsworn at the same time.

Doesn’t it depend on how many hit point dice they had before?
