  • The Cur is one of my favorites, so I hope you enjoy using him! Also, remember to get his Lethality tokens back if you miss an attack! I've seen several people not do this since the game has released.

  • what happens if I need to add a mob, but there are no more minis to add because they're all on the board?

  • Nevermind, found it on a chapter spoiler thread. Is it in the rulebook somewhere for reference?

  • We got a piece of gear in chapter 6, think it was a necklace. Says when using your 0 battle flow attack card, the attack also hits adjacent enemies and Allies. Does this mean adjacent to the attacker, or the target? Was trying to figure out if it would work for our ranger.

  • So the construct for the grove maiden.....can it be targeted specifically because it's the closest target or do you use the grove maiden as the one to check range for targeting.

For the Blade's level 2 ability (not sure if the higher-level character abilities count as spoilers, erring for caution, no chapter info included)- ||What's the Battleflow order when using Master Parry with Mule's Regard? I think that Master Parry is still "resolving" until after the check to see if the guessed number matches the drawn damage so Mule's ends up finishing the effect first despite being played second so Mule's ends up in slot 2 and MP in slot 3?||

This sounds correct. All of the character cards have been shown in updates so i doubt they are classified as a spoiler

Oh, and for knockback - breaking a location on a knockback attack will cancel the knockback effect due to the reaction, so the clarification about knockback still happening if the victim is killed applies to the party and minions but not bosses?

Correct. Bosses impose the Reaction whereas minions and Oathsworn/Allies do not.

so, for the huntress’s ||amber satchel charge|| ability, the wording specifies that you may ||detonate **a** +2 anima token||. however, there’s an item ||lifeseed|| that allows you to ||place a +2 anima token adjacent to you||. theoretically, given the wording of these cards, could you use the item to activate the ability immediately, on each of your turns (provided you battleflow the ability back into your hand), especially given that the item ||grows another token on the same space every turn|| ?

You must be in possession of the animus tokens to expend them on abilities. Additionally, once you pick up the seed, it's gone. ||It only produces tokens in that spot until you pick it up||

not to spend the tokens— the ability states that you can ||detonate an animus token on the field||.

the item that i spoke of allows you to ||place animus tokens on the field||, hence the possible interaction

Yes, I suppose that could happen with the rules as written on the Amber Satchel card. That wasn't the design intention, but the item you're talking about hadn't been created yet when the Satchel was created haha.

Just remember: ||With the Lifeseed, it only adds additional Animus tokens if there is already one on the tile. So if you use the Animus token to detonate the Satchel and it was the only one there then the Lifeseed is done and cannot continue to grow||

Question here: If player A push player B to collide with the boss and causing a break in boss bodypart, who will take the boss retaliation? Player A or B?

This is what actually happened yesterday, dont ask why we need to do such move 🤣, end the combat with 1 dead and 3 of us left with 1 hp (we play with the hardest mode), such a messy and brutal fight

To be more specific, push doesn't inflict any damage on collision. Only knockbacks will have that effect.

Yeah we know about that, but some character can actually knock back their own teammate, thats why i am asking about above situation

Following the rule strictly, it sounds like player B would be target of the reaction.

Sounds like harbinger. And if you have something that negates collision damage… that’s actually a nice move

I’m not sure on whether it would be A or B. I tend to think A as that was the Oathsworn causing the action. At the same time the monster thematically notices mostly someone bumping into it. Only logic issue I have is that otherwise when due to causing a knock back into e.g. minions a location gets broken, it would revert to the closest Oathsworn.
