I agree. I'm a bit puzzled but it seems I've narrowed it down to a behaviour in syncthing rather than lldap. I'll restart the client machine completely and do some more tests. Maybe consider this one irrelevant for lldap for now. I'll get back to you if something new comes up that seems more in context.
