Reposting what you said in general for context: > i'm having issues logging into a new installation of LLDAP > i've specified the admin user with a password in '/etc/lldap/lldap_config.toml' but i'm still not able to access the web interface
Is that really the config file read by LLDAP? How do you start it?
For context: this was after a ubuntu package installation, which by default reads from /etc/lldap for the config. The service was auto-started on installation, which creates the admin user with the default config password, i.e. "password". Logging in with that password works, at which point you can change the password in the UI. Changing the password in the config doesn't work, since it's only used on first startup.
