Hey everyone,
I have a question regarding storage requirements.
I'm using a locally hosted Postgres DB. I'm doing some load testing. My relation_tuple table has 240k entries, which is about 152Mb. Is this expected?
Reason for the question is, our clients have air gapped systems and, for arguments sake, we can only update the site every five years (I know, that is crazy).
Matchbox calculation: So if I expect to create 70k relationships per day, after 5 years it would result in our Postgres requiring approx 82Gb of storage (assuming the growth is linear). If I'm not mistaken, Postgres will start to lose its mind way before 82Gb.
So, if this is indeed the case, and my approximations are correct, what would be the best strategy to avoid the whole system shitting itself?
