Is it legally and technically possible that Supabase may use the Citus extension in the future, for horizontal scalability?

Actually that's something that I'm experimenting with.

It's technically possible, because I set it up on a project and was messing with compression and it worked great.

But the "legally" part I have no idea, as I'm not a lawyer.  But it's something we're looking at.
