I don't use React or React Native so it would be difficult for me to say how exactly, but I think there is a comment in that issue which outline how to get it done. I use Svelte kit and what the user on that issue has outlines is similarly to how I do it with Svelte kit.

but just want to make sure that's a secure way to do it, we're a finance app so security is extremely important

I'm not a security expert, so I can't actually vouch for it being secure in the way you may need it to be

Okay so basically Mike is looking for a way to manage auth on the backend side with supabase, and link that auth part with the frontend

So if anyone knows how to make it properly, don't hesitate to ping it with the answer :p
