I didn't code that, but here's how I find the color code of stuff like that:
On my Mac, I run "Digital Color Meter.app". I think it's included in MacOS, let me look. Try searching for it using Spotlight...
This lets you grab the color on the screen for anything you see.

If you're on Windows or Linux there are other tools like this, but for the Mac this one is always handy and I use it all the time.

You can go to the 'Computed' tab in chrome dev tools to see the properties of everything (without having to worry about whether it's a css var that's hiding the colour) As for a Windows option, there's the Powertools colour picker (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/powertoys/color-picker)
