I got a question, I really enjoy supabase for local development currently, but for small commercial projects, it seems to be expensive with a minimum price of 25 dollars? Am I missing something here?

I think the cost is not that expensive for what you are getting, you don't have an API request limit, they aren't charging per request. Also note there is the free account which goes inactive if the service is not being used for a 7 day period. Plus you can also self-host it if you wish too.
Pricing is always tricky because depending on where you are in the world and the clients you may have this can be expensive for some while cheap for others. I think when compared to other services in this field, Supabase prices are cheap.

@User yes this is why I asked, I mean I can't probably compare its pricing to a wordpress cms with included server and mysql database for 10 bucks a month. I see the benefits, but I just started to use it a day ago, so far its fun 🙂

Yes, its always 1 dedicated database per project, so this database is not shared with anyone else
Do note that you can have up to 3 projects per organisation in your account
You can also have up to 2 organisations inside of your account
So in total you can have 6 projects with one account
However if you wanted to use all these projects with high traffic, the cost is 25 dollars per project, but for having a staging environments it works really well since you wouldn't need to pay for it in that instance

self host and save about 80% @sockenguy you also get to enjoy a more robuust way of syncing your db schema if setup correctly
