I think this is reasonable for free accounts. Also you can have up to two organisations, so you get 4 free projects in total.

@User are you sure it's 2 free PER organization? The supabase pricing page says this (emphasis mine):

Yes, you can have up to 2 free projects in your account ACCROSS ALL organizations that you own. You also are able to create as many organizations as you want.

That's too restrictive

That's my current limitation but maybe I have that because I started from the Beta period

I was also involved in this project during the beta period. But every day you put limits on me. 😄

I don't see how getting something for free is restrictive, its to try out the service, also remember comparing a Google (billion dollar company) owned product to a startup is a bit much. I mean pricing wise.

dev can be done locally with self hosted supabase (docker)
