Hi all. I'm new and I come investigating some of the Supabase virtues. Some of you can throw some light about its. We have a webapp using Nextjs and vercel and I'm seeing the integration will be aparently easy. We need only a few features around a database so it is important to not introduce quite more complexity

Hey! What are you looking to do? Supabase and Next play really well together — a lot of Supabase is built off Next in fact. Happy to help answer any questions you have!

Hello, Terry thanks a lot to reply me. I am looking for different solutions for storage and my question was so generic, sorry for that. But what I what to know is why I should take, or what are the advantages of Supabase solution instead of, for example, having my own MongoDB hosting by Atlas. I mean, at the project status we only need a DB, will be worthy adopt now althoug we increase the complexity of the project
I really apreciate your opinion and time 🙂 thx

Happy to help! I'm pretty biased, but I think Supabase is really great to work with :^) It's advantage over Mongo, on the most basic level, is SQL — if you prefer SQL to document stores that is. Otherwise, Supabase is a great option for adding what you need as you go. Just need a DB to start? Perfect. Need users and auth down the road, no issue. Discover you need some kind of storage later on? That's there too. Then of course there's edge functions and realtime as well. Supabase puts a lot of built-in functionality in your back pocket for when you need it. Happy to answer any questions you have!
