Below is JD About FoodMarketHub Procurement platform designed for F&B industry which focus at converting traditional B2B ordering process to digital. Our users consist of restaurants and F&B suppliers. The platform is also powered with an AI Forecast module to assist restaurant reorder quantity to achieve lower food cost. We are currently handling 300 million USD worth of PO annually, supporting nearly 2000 restaurants and 3000 suppliers. What you will do - Design scalable backend architecture - Improve product quality through code reviews, write effective unit tests and collaborate with Q&A to implement automation testing - Contribute to open-source, write your experiences, mentor others and proactively improve - Communication, Communication, Communication: We are looking for a developer who understands the importance of team communication What you will have - Lead by example, opening pull-requests for small modular pieces of functionality with clearly defined context/implementation details with tests when applicable. - Document everything that is meaningful to empower fellow contributors to be better and to foster a learning environment - Minimum 2-3 years of software engineering experience in backend development particularly Node (express , fastify) - Sees the value of testing and not a time-cost - Strong teamwork, coordination, and planning, self-managed - Experience working remotely & as part of a distributed engineering team - Strong problem-solving skills are essential. - English Skills (ability to effectively communicate via written and spoken english) - Familiarity with tools and services like AWS, Redis , Docker, and ECS - Developed and worked with GraphQL in production environments - Complete understanding of designing REST APIs & Microservices - Familiarity with postgresql and hasura.io DM me for more info
