Hey Supabase developers, I know you have a lot of work todo, but I would like to know if somebody is still taking care of the
@supabase-community/auth-helpers
repo. It's been around 4 months that the work on supporting Remix should be started and there are no news yet. Nobody even replied to the issue since 2 months. After NextJS with the 12.2.0 version released some middleware breaking changes, a contributor created a PR that is still waiting for a review and merge. Unfortunately this is a blocker for some of us until it will be supported. As said, I know you a lot to do, but I think that everyone would appreciate if you could give us a public roadmap at least. I hope my words are not mean and I hope you understand my concerns.

Hi, the repository is very much managed. There is a branch for the Remix auth https://github.com/supabase-community/auth-helpers/tree/feat/add-remix-helpers stuff that has had updates in recent weeks and the NextJS stuff is currently being worked on as you can see from that PR its a WIP and a number of reviews has happened already. I'm just waiting on the contributor to say its ready for release and we can get it merged in. I think the current version of the nextjs auth helpers do work with the latest remix, its mainly the middleware stuff that is broken from what I'm aware of.

Hi @silentworks, I appreciate your quick response. I hope I didn't seemed mean, else I'm sorry. I saw you did a lot of work for the nextjs part and it's all nicely done. My only concern was that, looking at the repo from the outside, in my perspective it seemed a bit let behind. That's why I asked in my prev message if there is a way to see your (public) roadmap. I'm sure it would help us (devs) to know what are you working on and eventually give the chance to others to contribute (in an organized way).

@NARCISO your message didn't come across as mean at all, I really appreciate your feedback and happy to see that you are vested in this project. I will see what we can do for roadmap, but currently we are pre-1.0 and will probably have breaking changes hence why we didn't want to commit to a roadmap as yet. But I will definitely take your feedback and share with the rest of the team. The NextJS part was mainly done by @thorwebdev with the help of some contributors, I mainly moved that code into a monorepo setup. The SvelteKit part is where I do more work along with contributors. Please feel free to open an issue on the repo in regards to roadmap just to make sure it doesn't get lost in the messages on here.

@silentworks I really love Supabase for its simplicity and wonderful UX as DX. Thanks for considering my feedback! Thanks for everything! (I just opened the issue as a reminder)

Nice to see you still work on It 🙂 I saw some things on the PR, maybe you'll accept some comments on It when It'll be ready to test ? I have worked a lot on Remix and Supabase (and made a Stack) and I'll be happy to be an early tester. But for now, there is still a lot of nextjs code 😬
You can take all you want from https://github.com/rphlmr/supa-fly-stack if it helps 😇
