ah, yes. it is. what should i check?
well, i tried running doctor: fixFrontmatter but this did not fix the problem. this command also seems to have modified all my notes across all vaults. it is an overkill and not intuitive. you expect this command to report what it finds fist, ask if the user wants to apply fixes, apply fixes only to problem notes and provide a report on what it has done. otherwise, it is a massive impact that it is not easy to revert. likely with no good reason
@kevins8 also, the Tree View works just fine in 105 so it does not look like this is to do with my notes after all
k
got it - we should have a fix for this out in https://github.com/dendronhq/dendron/pull/3495/files . we'll release a patch when this is merged
t
Super, thanks.
Any thoughts on the Doctor feedback?
k
i think it makes sense but would want to collect more feedback. mind starting a github discussion around this? we can change the default if people feel strongly one way or the other
t
Sure. I feel a global preview of impact would be great across Dendron including for Doctor... e.g., refactor gives a static preview which is great. even better would be a real-time preview like in vscode rename/replace... a tangent, sorry......... but was thinking about this for a while...
k
haha, all good. and yeah, live preview of changes would be best
d
I was also caught out by it changing all of my notes, when I just wanted to fix the one I was looking at.

you can lock it to one but this is not clear from the interface, but not to several or a hierarchy...
