1. You can't right now unfortunately, if you send in a feature request we might be able to add it. You can also have prettier reformat your note to fix it, Dendron should be able to read single quotes too. 2. Again not supported at the moment, but you can send a feature request. Dendron only touches your gitignore when you add a new vault (or something like migrating an existing vault), so the gitignore shouldn't keep changing once you have your workspace set up.
