Since there were some conversations regarding mobile clients: if you're on Android I can't recommend Neutrinote (https://neutrinote.wordpress.com) enough. It focuses on a flat system with excellent search which make it an excellent companion to Dendron. It allows me to share parts of what I read on the web easily into a note which gets synced into my vault.
