> yeah, sync is hard to get right, especially collaborative sync. i think it would be less of an issue if there was a snapshotting mechanism or a way of restoring to a good state Regarding sync, and I know it's not a solution appropriate for everyone, but the way we've got our collaborative vault set up is that it's shared with https://syncthing.net/, and there's also a machine with access to the folder where there's just a cron job periodically committing all changes to Git, so you get both semi-instaneous updating and history tracking
