I mentioned the 10 year old blackberry because compatibility with past tech stacks might be a good indicator of compatibility with future tech stacks. We don't know what the file formats, media storage, or UI standards of 2040 would look like, but its reasonable to assume the concepts of files, filenames, filedirectories, and text will still be there, so Dendron vaults can survive for years with thier hierarchy and links intact, just as the previous generations' Unix notes stayed with them through every tech upgrade.
