What I do like about Word is the cognitive ease of print-view style WYSWYG. Having consistent digital UI more consistent with paper UI. On the reification axis of [Idea in your head → What you type → Digital version of the idea → What gets rendered → Visual representation of the idea in digital format→ Your idea on physical paper], something like Typora and Word is one step closer to how I envision notes in my head, in the format of A4 paper, and because of that, can be less cognitively demanding to use. I also like Word's pen input that adds a layer of svg on top of the document. Why I like vscode more is everything else 😅 .
