I had stopped using the agenda for appointments a while back. I need that mostly at work and being in an Outlook/Exchange environment it was just too cumbersome to replicate all appointments so I used the agenda mostly for tasks in a gtd fashion. I replaced that with markdown todo files and the todo-tree extension https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=Gruntfuggly.todo-tree and partly the Kanban board extension https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=coddx.coddx-alpha . Since a few weeks I experiment with https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=fabiospampinato.vscode-todo-plus and I like it so far. For clocking time I recently discovered https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=codicelq.mytime (actually via this discord in either #742532267058004098 , #749641193322971238 or #757779937833779361). It doesn't provide all the clock functionality of course. E.g I miss clock reports to collect things over a week. However it's good enough for now and I'm sure I could create a report by using note refs but I haven't played with it yet. I used capture only for simple things and replaced that with a few snippets.
