> Time tracking is not something that works for everyone.
Forget about "time" tracking... tracking "anything" is hard 😄 . Even when you are super focused; remembering to record and log things consistently and reliably is difficult. It really shows how incredibly easy it is for us to get distracted and how important it is to build systems to assist us. (i.e. practicing and training is important, but not enough. You will need to create mechanisms to remind yourself to be consistent). It is frustrating because we really expect tracking to be "easy" and "simple", and that it should come naturally. It doesn't. Far from it. However, it is a great "skill" to acquire as it is the foundation of building good feedback systems for yourself, which return compound interest (exponential growth) over time. (Knowing what to track, and finding the right granularity to track isn't always obvious either... but we have time on our hands and we can experiment to find out what works, or doesn't work for us, if we accurately keep track of what we try 😉 )
